Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) Honora Miller joins the Myeloma Caregiver Chapter on September 9th at 7 pm Eastern to discuss boundaries. Books, articles, podcasts, and personal experiences have proved boundaries to be both beneficial and effective in creating healthier relationships. But just like the rest of our lives, sometimes setting boundaries is easier said than done.

Myeloma care partners constantly face their own life challenges as well as challenges that come from taking care of a loved one. The stress of a currently incurable disease affects the caregiver as well as the patient. Responsibilities increase as doctors' appointments pile up, procedures are added to already busy schedules and undesired side effects lead to a change in the plan for the day.

Still, most myeloma care partners join their patients with love and dedication day in and day out, with no vacations, no time off, and no looking back.

How can we, as caregivers, prevent burnout in conditions such as these? How do we know where our limits are? How can we effectively create boundaries without hurting our loved ones?

Learn with us from the expertise of Honora Miller as she explains how we can identify our own needs, take care of ourselves, become aware of boundary issues, and find ways to have our own burdens lessened.

Come with your questions and join with other caregivers nationwide who are going through similar experiences.

We can't wait to see you there! Sign up today.

Join us for the Myeloma Caregiver Boundaries Event!

Remember, even if you can't make it to the session at the designated time if you register you will receive a recording of the event after its conclusion.

A thank you to our sponsors without whom this event would not be possible:
