Vic Arellano, MS, CES

Vic has 35 years of experience in business development, project planning and implementation, rehabilitation and wellness programming, and operations management. He has dedicated his career to population health strategies and services that extend the quality of life of older adults through healthcare and well-care initiatives. Vic holds a BA from DePaul University in Sociology and MS from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Exercise Physiology. He possesses several clinical certifications and has been a member and conference speaker for the American College of Sports Medicine, Medical Fitness Association, International Council on Active Aging and LeadingAge Illinois. Vic’s passion to pursue certification as a Cancer Exercise Specialist started when he was diagnosed in August of 2022 with Multiple Myeloma. After induction therapy, two stem cell transplants and back surgery to support compression fractures in his thoracic spine, he found that the healthcare industry offered little guidance regarding exercise. He is now on a mission to support other cancer survivors on their journey to a better quality of life
