Recognizing the Power of Community to Change Lives
Multiple myeloma is a blood cancer that starts with one or more changes to the DNA of a single stem cell in the bone marrow. There is currently no cure, but an ever-expanding suite of treatment options is helping people with myeloma live longer and better.
Since 2012 when Jenny Ahlstrom, Founder and CEO, was diagnosed with the disease, HealthTree has been committed to helping people with multiple myeloma learn more about their disease, better navigate their care, and seamlessly contribute to lifesaving research. Every March, our community joins together to raise awareness, share stories of those living with myeloma, and show support for friends, family, and caregivers.
We’re proud to focus on the power of this collaboration and community this Myeloma Awareness Month.
