Announcing HealthTree Foundation's Cure Tour: Starting This Summer image

What is the HealthTree Cure Tour?

HealthTree is going to meet patients in their own hometowns. The goal of the tour is to reach more myeloma patients, promote research in their local areas, and get myeloma patients resources in their local areas. These events are open to all blood cancer patients and their loved ones, including multiple myeloma patients.

Cities will be chosen based on the location of myeloma doctors who are doing collaborative research projects with HealthTree. HealthTree Foundation launched a call for proposals through their Research Hub for myeloma physicians around the nation. The Hub will be open to proposals from March 1-March 31, 2024.

Projects will be chosen based on these proposals in April and May of this year. Dates will then be released for the Cure Tour.

What will happen at the HealthTree Cure Tour events?

A HealthTree staff member will give an introduction to HealthTree Cure Hub, the powerful patient data portal that allows myeloma researchers to accelerate their surveys and studies. HealthTree Cure Hub also offers many benefits to myeloma patients themselves, apart from being a part of research, such as tracking labs in one place, receiving personalized treatment options, and learning about side effect solutions, to name a few.

The local doctor will then have a chance to present their research and invite the attendees to participate. Projects will vary by region but will all be designed to improve myeloma patients' quality of life and get us closer to myeloma cures for each myeloma patient.

HealthTree will then offer support for each patient to sign up or update their HealthTree Cure Hub profile, and get started with the local research.

Where will the HealthTree Cure Tour dates be posted?

Cure Tour dates will be posted on the Events Page of the HealthTree Foundation website. Stay tuned to see if we are coming to your local area. This tour is scheduled to last periodically for over two years.

A special Cure Tour page is in creation that will make it easy to find locations near you and register for local events on the Cure Tour.

We look forward to seeing you!
