This year HealthTree will be hosting a New Year’s Resolution Fitness and Learning Challenge! HealthTree’s myeloma coach Kenny Capps from Throwing Bones will be providing us with daily tips!

Kenny was diagnosed with multiple myeloma at the end of 2014. 

Kenny is the founder and executive director of Throwing Bones. Throwing Bones’ mission is to educate and advocate for individuals living with cancer to improve their quality of life through healthy and active lifestyles.

This year's challenge we will be giving away HealthTree Foundation Blender Bottles, in addition to reaching your movement goal, we are asking participants to complete at least 3 of the following options to qualify for the Blender Bottle. *Free shipping to US residents only*

  • Participate in research by creating an account and joining HealthTree Cure Hub 
    • Cure Hub empowers patients with the knowledge to actively participate in their health journeys while providing researchers with valuable insights from real-world experiences. Connecting patients and researchers not only accelerates the development of innovative treatments but also lays the foundation for a future where more educated patients and research lead to more effective and personalized cures.
  • Securely connect your records to HealthTree Cure Hub
    • By effortlessly integrating records from various healthcare providers, patients can now view a comprehensive overview of their medical history, including diagnoses, genetics, lab results, and treatments, all within a single, user-friendly interface.
  • Complete the Demographic Survey in Patient Surveys
    • A HealthTree survey that provides the most key information used by myeloma investigators for every survey or study performed
  • Donate or Fundraise by texting CURE to 24365, by calling 800-709-1113 or emailing donations@healthtree.org, or by visiting our website https://healthtree.org/myeloma
    • 100% of all donations will go towards curing multiple myeloma. Make a financial donation or fundraise using our seamless peer-to-peer fundraising technology and programs

Everyone is encouraged to join and move for at least 20 minutes per day. You can track your daily minutes manually or by synching your Apple Watch, Garmin, or Fitbit to the HealthTree Moves app. All you have to do is download the FREE HealthTree Moves app, available on both Android and Apple and join our upcoming New Year’s Resolution Fitness and Learning Challenge. 

If you already have the app, please be sure you are on the latest version by clicking on the 3 lines at the top left-hand side of your screen. The latest version is 1.675. To update the app you can go to the app store, find the HealthTree Moves app, and click update.

To manually enter your minutes click on the box at the top of your screen, click on Minutes Active, then click Save Changes. Results can be changed up to seven days.
