The Songs For Life contest was inspired by a concert that touched Jenny Ahlstrom during her myeloma treatment. She wanted to create a way to help other patients going through treatment with the gift of music while helping to fund cancer research at the same time.

Songs For Life is a music contest using music to fight multiple myeloma. Artists donate their original or cover songs between now and November 15. The top 20 songs by Facebook "likes" are reviewed by the Songs For Life judging panel who selects 12 songs to be included on a 2015 album. All proceeds go to benefit myeloma research.
