HealthTree University is a comprehensive myeloma curriculum created by our team at the Myeloma Crowd with the top myeloma doctors in the world as our faculty. Many myeloma experts (71) who treat and research myeloma have answered common patient questions about basic, and advanced myeloma concepts. Throughout the past year we have turned these interviews into over 200 videos that include graphics and animation, organized in a comprehensive curriculum to teach you everything you need to know as a patient or caregiver about multiple myeloma.
While there are a multitude of videos about multiple myeloma available on the internet, there are no other programs that have developed courses and a curriculum that can take you from a newly diagnosed patient who has never heard of myeloma to an experienced patient who understands the depth of myeloma care in a short period of time. Myeloma is not an easy disease to treat and in many cases it is because patients have so many options. Understanding the myeloma landscape in an organized way can help you quickly get up-to-speed on myeloma so you can navigate the complexities of treatment as soon as you are diagnosed. It can also help you become an active partner in shared decision making with your doctor. The decisions you make at the beginning of treatment are critical. Knowing how to navigate is key.
