Rooted in Connection: The 2025 HealthTree Coach Summit image

Every year, HealthTree coaches come together for the annual Coach Summit. This annual gathering is for HealthTree’s peer-to-peer, volunteer mentors and features targeted training, academic updates, and meaningful networking. Held in the heart of Salt Lake City, the 2025 Coach Summit theme was “Rooted in Connection” and featured inspiring speakers and educational sessions. The event was livestreamed for those who could not attend in person.

Celebrating 406 combined years of survivorship at the HealthTree Coach Summit

The keynote speaker, Justin Osmond, encouraged Coaches to challenge their limits rather than be limited by their challenges. His message set a powerful tone of hope, resilience, and determination.

Coaches engaged in training led by licensed clinical social worker Rosemay Webster and certified Coach Elizabeth Amorino. Sessions focused on improving communication through self-awareness and strengthening the core foundations of coaching. Interactive role-playing and case studies allowed Coaches to apply their learning in real-time.

Early morning yogam, and a guided sound bowl session led by fellow HealthTree Coach and lifestyle expert Randi Schwartz offered an opportunity for inner connection and mindfulness.

The Coaches celebrated a remarkable 406 combined years of survivorship by contributing to a time capsule and capturing memories with new friends in the photo booth. They enjoyed opportunities to build relationships through a speed mix-and-mingle activity. Coaches left feeling grounded in new knowledge, uplifted by connection, and re-energized in their purpose—ready to support others with greater awareness and intention.

The Coach Summit served as a powerful reminder of the impact of genuine connection. When individuals with shared experiences come together around a common goal, meaningful relationships emerge. This kind of connection is at the heart of the HealthTree Coach program. As Coaches support others living with myeloma or AML, their shared perspectives often create an instant bond—one that opens the door to personal, empathetic support that is both offered and received.
