Myeloma Coaches: How HealthTree Cure Hub Helps Them Track & Manage Their Myeloma image

The HealthTree Foundation has launched a #CureinFive initiative for March, Myeloma Awareness Month. Step 4 of that initiative is to participate in and help fund research.

The HealthTree Cure Hub provides opportunities for you to easily participate in research, and you don't even have to leave your house.   You can answer survey questions posed by myeloma researchers, and also join studies. We provide the HealthTree Cure Hub services to the myeloma researchers for free because the traditional methods of research are slow and expensive. As always, our goal is a faster cure.

HealthTree Cure Hub has a dual purpose - it’s a tool to not only accelerate a myeloma cure, but it can also help you navigate your myeloma along the way.

Here are some key features of HealthTree Cure Hub you might like to explore:

  1. Track your myeloma. Put everything about your myeloma in a single place.

  2. See all of your treatment options at all stages of the disease.

  3. Find all clinical trials you are personally eligible to join.

  4. Learn about myeloma with HealthTree University.

  5. Find a myeloma specialist in our directory.

  6. Find links to financial resources, like patient assistance programs.

  7. Help accelerate research

  8. Find your myeloma “twin”

  9. Explore Patient Solutions- a feature that allows you to find solutions to your common side effects.

Find hundreds of myeloma discussion topics and participate in our Community Forums.

Many, including Myeloma Coaches, use HealthTree Cure Hub to track/manage their myeloma, become more educated, and connect with others.

HealthTree has helped me in so many ways.  I learned how to get all my medical information uploaded and in one convenient place.  Through the app I can see all my records, follow trends, and see others with similar labs.  HealthTree has helped me meet new people (virtually) that have similar goals for everyone dealign with myeloma, as well as information, side effects, and new treatments.   The videos are a great explanation of all things myeloma!  Keep up the good work.

Having MGUS has lead me to have many questions regarding this disease. I found that Healthtree Cure Hub has helped me navigate through my many concerns. HealthTree University has been very helpful, watching the videos from experts has been very helpful and important to me. I still go back and watch a video over, and find something I missed or I had forgotten about. I now know more about MGUS and Myeloma, that I feel comfortable with my disease. I no longer look to “dr. Google for help understanding Myeloma…..-

Since I started with Health Tree, I have learned quite a bit of information about myeloma that I didn’t know beforehand. I love how the site is ever changing. There always seems to have more information every time I go on. Being a Coach has also helped me understand more about myeloma. Listening to other Coaches really help me learn more about my own myeloma as well as how I am better able to help those I Coach

I love coaching other patients I have met through the HealthTree Foundation. Most of the people I Coach come to me because they have a similar interest in nutrition. I don’t have a twin on HealthTree Cure Hub but I’ve connected to several with the same passion in nutrition and we share information and resources. I learn as much from them as they may learn from me. It’s a great day when I get to connect with a fellow patient who has a similar mindset re: their approach to this diagnosis.
