The Myeloma Crowd is here in sunny Florida at the American Society of Hematology (ASH) annual conference. ASH is a once-a-year conference for hematologists and oncologists to gather and learn from one another about the latest developments in blood cancers and it typically has over 30,000 attendees. The conference is held from today until Tuesday, December 8th, so watch for the Myeloma Crowd articles that will be coming on a variety of topics important to us as patients. You can attend ASH without even leaving your couch! Patient Power is also providing a way you can ask your questions of a multiple myeloma expert on Sunday at 4:30 EST. Dr. Robert Orlowski, MD, PhD of the MD Anderson Cancer Center will answer patient questions that are sent in by computer. This is a rare and unique chance to have important questions answered by one of the best in myeloma. Register here. Patient Power is a great resource for myeloma patients with myeloma doctor and patient interviews on a variety of topics.
