How To Thank Your Myeloma Specialist During Myeloma Awareness Month image

Our myeloma specialists work tirelessly to care for us and many also perform research for a potential cure. Sometimes we wonder how we can properly thank them for their amazing efforts. March is Myeloma Awareness Month and for those specialists who perform research, helping to support that research is a meaningful way to say thank you. Only one in 12 research proposals submitted to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) are funded, so myeloma specialists are continually looking for funding sources to keep working hard for YOU. You can join Muscles for Myeloma, a fitness campaign that runs until April 30, 2017 and join a team for your myeloma center. Set a goal and then invite your friends and family to sponsor your efforts. The funds raised will be donated to your myeloma center's academic research. This March, say THANK YOU to your doctor and help them advance their work.
