Patient Power: Monoclonal Antibodies in Myeloma

Monoclonal antibodies have now been in use in the myeloma clinic since November of 2015. Dr. Gareth Morgan of the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS) Myeloma Institute shares how they work and where the field is headed. He mentions the development of bi-specific antibodies, which are new drugs that can link an immune cell with the target on the surface of myeloma cells for greater specificity and impact.
