HealthTree is happy to promote the the 3rd Utah Amyloidosis Symposium on behalf of the Huntsman Foundation in Salt Lake City, Utah, focused on promoting change, development, and improvement in the early diagnosis and management of amyloidosis. Physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, researchers, and trainees are encouraged to attend online or in person. 

Huntsman is charging a $30 fee for the general public to attend either virtually or in person.

With a distinguished faculty of local, national, and international experts in AL and ATTR Amyloidosis, the symposium guarantees a diverse and enriching experience. Topics will include:

  • Stabilizers and Silencers
  • AI Approaches to Identifying Patients At Risk of Amyloidosis
  • Treatment Paradigms for AL Amyloidosis
  • Role of Imaging in Amyloidosis
  • Patient-centered treatment decisions

Speakers & Moderators

The panelist Amandeep Godara, MBBS
Amandeep Godara, MBBS

Dr. Amandeep Godara completed his hematology-oncology fellowship at Tufts Medical Center with a clinical and research interest in plasma cell disorders. His research focuses on developing new therapeutic targets and tools for assessment of treatment response in multiple myeloma, amyloidosis and other monoclonal gammopathies. His work has been presented at national and international scientific meetings. He was the recipient of Amyloidosis Foundation David Seldin, MD, PhD Memorial Research Grant in 2019. He also received training in blood and marrow transplantation at Stanford University. He completed his medical school at Government Medical College, Aurangabad, India, and his internal medicine residency at Wayne State University. Dr. Godara treats patients with Multiple Myeloma, Amyloidosis, Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia, and other plasma cell disorders.
