Estamos muy emocionados de lanzar nuestro grupo en español para la comunidad hispanohablante de University of Miami. Este grupo en línea abordará diferentes temas en cada evento y será un lugar para conectar y aprender junto con otros pacientes con mieloma múltiple y sus cuidadores. También tendrás la oportunidad de conocer y conectar con miembros del equipo de University of Miami y HealthTree for Myeloma.
En este evento, el equipo dará una explicación de los básicos de mieloma múltiple incluyendo: qué es el mieloma múltiple, los tipos de mieloma y diferentes etapas.
Tendremos tiempo para preguntas y respuestas y momentos para conocer y conversar con otros pacientes dentro de la misma comunidad.

Speakers & Moderators
Andrea is an International Medical Graduate and a part of Healthtree’s patient navigator staff. She helps complete medical history and patient’s important information to help them track their disease. She’s a wife and mom of 4 who loves to read and watch movies.
Sofia Capdevila is the Community Outreach Manager at HealthTree Foundation. She works closely with organizations to provide help and support for their myeloma patients. She is committed to helping all patients dealing with Social Determinants of Health issues and connecting those patients to adequate resources.
