Dr. Oza evaluates and manages musculoskeletal and neurological sequelae resulting from cancer and its treatment. She identifies symptoms that prevent individuals from continuing treatment or from fully participating in their daily activities-at school, work, and home, in the community and for recreation, then she develops personalized, comprehensive rehabilitation plans that typically include a targeted therapy prescription, physical exercise prescription, non-opioid pain medication management, interventional procedures (joint and muscle trigger point injections), orthotic & prosthetic prescription, and assistive device prescription. She works closely with the oncology teams and other medical specialists to ensure the rehabilitation recommendations are feasible.
