In this session, physical therapist Dr. Rachael Arabian will share practical guidance on how blood cancer patients can set realistic health goals and safely incorporate movement into their daily routine during treatment. Learn what types of exercise may be beneficial, how to adapt activity based on your treatment and symptoms, and strategies for building sustainable habits that support your health.

Speakers & Moderators

Hannah joined HealthTree Foundation as the Lymphoma Education Manager in 2024. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist and is passionate about helping patients feel empowered through education and connection. Before joining HealthTree, Hannah worked in healthcare policy helping patients advocate for better care, research, and funding. Hannah enjoys baking and going to concerts in her free time.

Dr. Rachael Arabian is a United States Army combat Veteran and Jumpmaster. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina shortly after leaving active duty service. Rachael is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins Hospital Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program and is a neurologic board-certified clinical specialist. She has presented at various international and national conferences on the management of vestibular patients in the acute care and emergency room clinical settings. Rachael is certified in lymphedema and wound care, specializing in management of acute vascular lymphedema disorders.
