Event Description
The NorthEast Myeloma Community welcomes two member of the HealthTree medical myeloma professional team to help us understand those complicated myeloma labs. This session will focus on how to understand the labs that are given to us, what numbers we should be paying attention to, and the importance of keeping track of those labs. Whether you are newly diagnosed or further along your myeloma journey, we guarantee you will learn something in this session!

Speakers & Moderators

Audrey joined the HealthTree Foundation as the Myeloma Community Program Director in 2020. While not knowing much about myeloma at the start, she has since worked hard to educate herself, empathize and learn from others' experiences. She loves this job. Audrey is passionate about serving others, loves learning, and enjoys a nice mug of hot chocolate no matter the weather.

Andrea is an International Medical Graduate and a part of Healthtree’s patient navigator staff. She helps complete medical history and patient’s important information to help them track their disease. She’s a wife and mom of 4 who loves to read and watch movies.

Arturo Hurtado is an International Medical Graduate who Joined HealthTree in 2020 as part of The Patient Experience team. He helps patients understand their disease panorama and navigate their myeloma through the tools and resources that HealthTree provides. He is an enthusiastic photographer, tech nerd, and aspiring food explorer who loves to travel and find new exciting experiences.
