Event Description

Patients are hungry to know what is currently available for Induction Therapy. Common questions that I hear are:

1. What is the standard of care for myeloma induction therapy? Does that vary based on risk stratification?

2. What is the standard of care for induction therapy of myeloma patients that do not qualify/opt-out of transplant?

3. What other options are there for induction therapy? Why would someone receive induction therapy outside of the standard of care (i.e. kidney involvement, frail, etc.)

Learn the answers to these questions and more through the expertise of myeloma specialist Dr. Nisha Joseph. We look forward to learning with you!

Audrey joined the HealthTree Foundation as the Myeloma Community Program Director in 2020. While not knowing much about myeloma at the start, she has since worked hard to educate herself, empathize and learn from others' experiences. She loves this job. Audrey is passionate about serving others, loves learning, and enjoys a nice mug of hot chocolate no matter the weather.
