Audrey joined the HealthTree Foundation as the Myeloma Community Program Director in 2020. While not knowing much about myeloma at the start, she has since worked hard to educate herself, empathize and learn from others' experiences. She loves this job. Audrey is passionate about serving others, loves learning, and enjoys a nice mug of hot chocolate no matter the weather.

Dr. Sandy Wong is a blood disease specialist who cares for people with MGUS, smoldering myeloma, multiple myeloma and amyloidosis. She is designing a clinical trial for a promising new drug to treat multiple myeloma. After graduating from Brown University with a degree in human biology, Wong earned her medical degree at the University of Massachusetts. She then completed an internal medicine residency followed by a hematology-oncology fellowship at Tufts Medical Center. Wong is a member of the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
