Your Multiple Myeloma Lab Results, Decoded: What They Mean and What They Don’t

Event Description
Join leading experts Dr. Michael Misialek & Dr. Andrew Yee for an in-depth, patient-friendly webinar designed to help individuals with multiple myeloma better understand their lab results. In this educational session, doctors Misialek and Yee will explain in plain language what common blood and bone marrow tests measure, why they are ordered, and how results guide treatment and monitoring decisions. Participants will learn about monitoring lab trends over time helping to reduce anxiety and build confidence. The webinar will help patients feel more confident and prepared for their next appointment by increasing their familiarity with common lab tests, what the results mean, and how those results are used in care decisions, empowering them to engage more comfortably in conversations with their healthcare team. In addition, attendees will gain insight into advances in myeloma testing, emerging biomarkers, and how newer diagnostic tools are driving more personalized treatment and disease monitoring. This program is ideal for patients and caregivers seeking clarity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of multiple myeloma lab testing and personalized care.
