About

Dr. Thomas is an assistant professor of medicine in the lymphoma/myeloma department at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and did her residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Penn. Dr. Thomas completed a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Her research interests include the epidemiology of multiple myeloma and Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia, and in developing novel therapies to treat these diseases. Dr. Thomas reports that she has received funding from Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
