About

Dr. Michaela Liedtke is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine, where she also serves as the Clinical Chief of the Division of Hematology, Director of the Stanford Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program and Co-director of the Stanford Amyloid Center.

Dr. Liedtke received her medical degree from Hanover Medical School in Germany, and completed her residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Stanford University.

Dr Liedtke has been principal investigator for more than 25 clinical trials for patients with hematologic malignancies with a particular focus on multiple myeloma and amyloidosis and has authored more than 100 publications. Her research focuses on novel therapeutics for myeloma including CAR-T cell therapy and the development of fibril-targeting antibodies for AL amyloidosis. She is a member of the NCCN guideline panel for multiple myeloma and light chain amyloidosis and serves as an editorial board member for Therapeutic Advances in Hematology.
