Gather: A Virtual Support Group for Caregivers image

Each month, HealthTree hosts a virtual webinar called Gather. During this hour, caregivers come together to discuss different topics related to blood cancer and have the opportunity to share their experiences and perspectives.

Care partners play an essential role in providing both practical and emotional support. They help manage appointments and medications and offer encouragement during difficult days. Care partners are a vital part of the care team, and recognizing their responsibilities, challenges, and strengths is key to ensuring both the patient and the care partner feel supported along the way.

The responsibilities of being a caregiver can shift over time depending on the care that a person needs. It is important to find ways to support and care for yourself as well.

On January 26th, join the Gather webinar to add your perspective, hear others share their experiences, challenges, and triumphs of caregiving, and join the conversation. Group members will have an opportunity to share ideas, learn from one another, and gain support from others providing care to people living with blood cancer.

To ensure a safe and comfortable space, this session is reserved for caregivers only. If you’re a patient wondering whether it might be helpful for your loved one, feel free to reach out to cynthia@healthtree.org.
