Flatiron Health and CareSpace Join HealthTree Foundation’s Network of Connected Health Systems

Two new organizations have partnered with HealthTree Foundation to connect medical records to HealthTree’s unified platform: Flatiron Health and CareSpace. These new integrations expand HealthTree’s network of connected health systems that already includes Epic, Cerner, and the U.S. Veterans Health Administration (VA).
With the Flatiron Health and CareSpace integration, HealthTree now supports more than 7,300 connected treatment centers and health systems. This is achieved with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) connections, which enable smooth, safe sharing of health data across systems. When patients connect their records to HealthTree’s Cure Hub platform, it gives patients and clinical teams faster access to lab and treatment details, unified health records, and the ability to participate in real-world research.
“Because of regulatory barriers, patients are the only stakeholders that are capable of pulling their medical records into a single patient health record,” said Jenny Ahlstrom, HealthTree CEO and Founder. “Having a single, complete medical record opens new opportunities to use AI for more personalized data-driven care and gives patients a meaningful role in driving faster cures.”
What is HealthTree Foundation’s Cure Hub?
When you connect your medical records using HealthTree’s Cure Hub platform, all of your health data is in one place. It can help you monitor your labs, see out-of-range values, and learn what has worked for others with your same disease. Cure Hub can help you find the best treatment for you, provide important information to your care team, and allow you to participate in research.
Cure Hub’s powerful tools include:
-
Personalized treatment options based on your health profile. Learn about the treatment options that could be right for you, based on your stage of disease, previous treatments, and more–all from the comfort of home. Bring the options to your doctor and choose the best path together.
-
Clinical trial finder. With Cure Hub, you can explore clinical trials you can join. Our innovative technology uses your health profile information to provide a list of clinical trials you might be eligible to join. After finding a clinical trial, our team can help you enroll.
-
Side effects solutions. Cancer comes with side effects and symptoms. Our community-based side effects solutions tool tells you what other patients have tried that has helped alleviate these side effects. You can also contribute by sharing what has helped you.
-
Surveys and research studies. You can help advance research with HealthTree Cure Hub by contributing your anonymous health information to studies by reputable investigators and participating in surveys and studies that help researchers get closer to cancer cures.
-
Twin machine. Find your disease “twins” and connect with other patients who have a similar cancer history. Learn what other treatments have worked for them, add them as friends, and chat anonymously with them.
-
Track your disease. With Cure Hub, you can keep a close eye on your health markers by tracking your labs, spotting out-of-range values, and accessing all your health data in one app. No spreadsheets, no stress. You can easily connect your records from different hospitals and get a health summary you can share for a second opinion or with other doctors.
