Barb lives in Colorado Springs with her husband, Steve, who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August, 2018. She loves spending time with their three grandkids, riding her bike, writing, and running agility with her Danish/Swedish farm-dog, Po, who came all the way from Sweden to become part of their family.
Kim Sisneros cares for her handsome husband Bob (Bobby) Sisneros. He was diagnosed with MM in July, 2015. It’s been a tough six years for them as they've always been very active in their social lives and running hard all the time with their friends and family. They have loved taken camping trips to motorcycle rides, beautiful vacations, wine tasting in the Napa Valley and just enjoying life with the ones they love the most. However, once Bob was diagnosed with MM they quickly realized they should slow down and smell the roses and not take anything for granted. Kim loves good wine and would consider herself to be in the category of a “wine snob”. She enjoys all the snuggles from their dog Jesse who gives them joy every single day!
Michael is a professional photographer working for the King County Sheriffs Department in Seattle WA. This is Michael’s first time as a caregiver for a cancer patient and with Mary’s help and good humor they have pushed past some of the harder times and enjoy and relish in the good times. Michael’s creative outlet for over 50 years is photography, you will often see his Nikon camera hanging from his neck.
