On October 23rd, 2023, hundreds of members of our blood cancer community gathered to celebrate the launch of HealthTree 2.0. The energy was palpable and the overall feeling of the night was one of hope for the future. The Launch marked HealthTree’s laser focus on driving research to cure blood cancers, highlighting its expansion from myeloma to now over 40 additional blood cancers including CLL.

The rest of the night was filled with powerful messages and exciting news of progress.

Attendees learned about HealthTree’s unique model, innovative technology, and plans to build six regional communities across the countries. 

Keynote speakers included Fred Appelbaum, MD, Executive Vice President at Fred Hutch Cancer Center and author of Living Medicine, Rafael Fonseca, MD, Chief Innovation Officer at Mayo Clinic, and Jeffrey Wolf, MD, Myeloma Director at UCSF. 

The event was live streamed from Deer Valley, Utah where HealthTree hosted some of the country's most prestigious partners and supporters who shared insights on how together we will accelerate a cure. 

The event was inspirational, educational, and brought hope to all patients and their supporters who viewed the event. 

We encourage all patients and caregivers who have questions about the future of a cure, or who are currently struggling with their disease, and/or want to learn more about how HealthTree provides priceless information and experiences to the CLL and blood cancer community to view the videos above to learn more about this special, groundbreaking event.

While not knowing much about myeloma initially, she worked hard to educate herself, empathize, and learn from others' experiences. She loves this job.
