Real-World Impact: Examples of HealthTree Research

HealthTree Foundation is actively contributing to blood cancer research. For example, a recent study reported on real-world experiences of patients undergoing some specific myeloma treatments, including the treatment decision-making process, patients' expectations and evaluation of treatment, and patient perspectives and information needs related to CAR T-cell therapies and bispecific antibodies. 

We also recently shared the results of the use of cannabis to manage pain and anxiety and the use of dietary supplements in patients with multiple myeloma, what motivates these patients to use supplements, and where they get their information about them.   

HealthTree Cure Hub is facilitating research in different stages of the treatment, such as the ongoing study on stem cell mobilization in patients undergoing a stem cell transplant. This research will help understand the challenges and hopefully improve the stem cell collection process for patients.
