In 2025, Healthtree hosted Connect to Cures events in 10 cities across the US. On May 16, Healthtree is hosting a Connect to Cures event in Abilene, Texas. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Courtyard by Marriott Abilene Southwest

The appointments, treatment decisions, and side effects of blood cancer can leave patients and their support systems feeling confused, alone, and overwhelmed. Events that bring people together can make a meaningful difference.

Connect to Cures is a free in-person community event. It is designed to help people have access to information and support. This event will bring together patients, care partners, and healthcare experts for a day of education, connection, and practical support.

Guests will hear from oncologists about important blood cancer topics and treatment advances. The event will also include patient and caregiver stories. This gives meeting participants an opportunity to hear real-world experiences from others who are navigating similar situations.

People can ask questions, share their stories, and connect in small-group settings during interactive breakout sessions.

There will also be a resource fair that provides information about tools and support services available to patients and families during their care.

Healthtree also offers a variety of events throughout the year with the goal of providing you with educational materials, meaningful connections, and resources to help support you through treatment and beyond.
