About

Martin S. Tallman, MD, will join the Lurie Cancer Center as Director of Faculty Mentorship and Career Development, effective June 1, 2022. An internationally renowned clinician, he will focus on the management and development of new treatments for patients with both acute and chronic leukemias.

Dr. Tallman is an active clinical investigator whose discoveries have fueled the progress of leukemia-targeting therapies. He comes to Lurie Cancer Center from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he served as chief of the Leukemia Service and professor of Medicine at the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York.
