Viralkumar Bhanderi, MD

Throughout his medical training, Dr. Viralkumar Bhanderi has pursued his keen interest in research, including conducting DNA research for a specialized education program at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. After graduating from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, Dr. Bhanderi moved to Florida for his internship and residency training at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He served as Chief Resident, Internal Medicine from 2005 to 2006.

Dr. Bhanderi was awarded a Fellowship in Oncology/Hematology at the University of Florida and continued participating in research, specifically focusing on lymphoma, a blood cancer that begins in the lymph system.

A member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society of Hematology (ASH) and American College of Physicians, Dr. Bhanderi enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.
