As a hematologist/oncologist, my role is extraordinarily special. I am often entrusted with the care of patients at their time of greatest need. No matter how benign or serious the issue, I strive to ensure that I treat each patient with the care that they deserve. This involves open, honest communication, compassion, and striving to make sure that both physical and mental needs are addressed. In a field that is constantly changing and discovering, I am excited by the advancements coming in our field. I take pride in studying to provide the best treatments available, keeping in mind that the journey through illness is as important as the final outcome. I believe that it takes a team to provide the best care possible, and will utilize all the resources available to best treat each patient. I have always taken strength from my patients and their families. It is a privilege to participate in their care and take the journey with them.
