Join us virtually for HealthTree for AML's very first virtual Round Table event featuring three leaders in the AML field:

  • Pinkal Desai, MD of Weill Cornell
  • David Sallman, MD of Moffitt Cancer Center
  • Hetty Carraway, MD of Cleveland Clinic 

Learn from these top AML experts about the latest way AML is diagnosed and treated to find out what you can do to stay one step ahead for your best outcomes. Extensive time for audience questions will be included. 

What are HealthTree Round Tables for AML?

These events are education programs for AML patients and caregivers on a variety of treatment and research issues. Each Round Table features presentations from internationally-recognized AML experts who will also participate in extensive Q&A time with audience members. In 2022, these events will take place either in person at a variety of US-based locations or virtually.

Katie joined the HealthTree Foundation as the Community Director for AML in 2021. She is a registered dietitian who previously worked at the VA hospital in Dallas, Texas where she coached veterans with blood cancer on how to use nutrition to improve their treatment outcomes and minimize cancer-related side effects. Katie is passionate about health education and patient empowerment. In her spare time, she loves to experiment with new recipes in the kitchen, spend time running outdoors, and travel to new places.
