Nutrition Challenges in Pediatric ALL: Supporting Kids and Adolescents

Event Description
Children and adolescents undergoing treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often face nutrition challenges such as appetite loss, nausea, mucositis, and refusing even their favorite foods. Long hospital stays and chemotherapy can also affect digestion and make mealtimes stressful. In this session, expert oncology dietitians from MSK and MSK Kids will provide practical, evidence-based guidance to help families manage feeding difficulties, support nutrition when eating isn’t possible, and reduce stress around food during treatment.
