I am a hematologist with specialties in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and blood and marrow transplant (BMT). I also serve as a clinical instructor at The Ohio State University. After I received my medical degree from Albany Medical College, I completed my residency and fellowship at Ohio State and was delighted to be asked to join the staff at the OSUCCC – James. In 2012, I received Ohio State’s Michael R. Grever Award for Outstanding Clinical Resident in Hematology/Oncology. As a member of the Leukemia Research Program at the OSUCCC – James, my research is focused on developing new therapies for AML, using both immune-therapies and small molecules, and phase I clinical trials. The James is a first-class facility where cutting-edge therapies are developed every day. We learn from one another as we share our findings. It’s an honor to work alongside some of the foremost cancer experts in the world and see the progress we’re making toward eradicating this disease.
