Dr. Walker's research is focused on the development of lower intensity novel therapies for patients that maximize efficacy and minimize toxicity. More recently, she has focused on the use of small molecule inhibitors in patients with AML with specific cytogenetic or molecular abnormalities that are known to be recurrent in this disease.
