David J. Chung, MD, PhD, is the Director of Clinical Research and the Multiple Myeloma System Chief at Northwell Health Cancer Institute. He is a physician-investigator with over 20 years of experience in academic medicine. As a medical oncologist, he specializes in all aspects of multiple myeloma care, including hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy. His research focuses on immunotherapies for cancer, particularly multiple myeloma. Before joining Northwell, he was a member of the Adult Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Services at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he also served as the director of the Adult Stem Cell Transplantation and Cancer Immunotherapy Fellowships.
