About

Dr. Lentzsch has a high interest in clinical research and is the principal investigator of many phase 1, 2 and 3 clinical trials, including investigator-initiated studies for newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma, for maintenance following transplant for multiple myeloma and amyloidosis. Her translational laboratory research focuses on the identification of novel targets for the treatment of MM, MM bone disease and amyloidosis and is funded by multiple awards from the NIH, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the German Cancer Foundation, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and the International Myeloma Society. She is a member of the NCI Myeloma Steering Committee and has published over 80 original articles, editorials, chapters, many as the lead or senior author, in such prestigious journals as Journal of Clinical Investigations, Blood, Cancer Research, and Leukemia.
