Dietary Research in Blood Cancers: Exploring the Impact of a Plant-Based Diet
Event Description
Can a plant based diet affect your overall health? Can it affect your blood cancer progression or time to relapse? What does the science say about it, and what questions still need to be answered? Dr. Urvi Shah, Francesca Castro, MS, RDN, CDN, and Jenny Ahlstrom, HealthTree Founder and CEO will join us to discuss these topics and the Nutrivention studies that aim to answer these questions and more. Come ready to learn from the experts and hear about how you can become a cure contributor.
HealthTree is working with Dr. Urvi Shah's team at MSK in "Nutrivention-2", a national, multi-arm, randomized prospective telehealth study. This study will explore the microbial changes in response to a plant-based diet and supplements in smoldering myeloma patients. You can learn more about it HERE.
