Speakers & Moderators

Cynthia is a newborn ICU nurse by trade that has spent the last six years in the medical device industry educating nurses and doctors about devices that are new to their facility. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, traveling the world with her family, and creating Halloween animatronics for her annual front yard display. She has a passion for life-long learning and enjoys sharing what she learns with the people around her.

Diahanna is the Financial Program Manager for the HealthTree Foundation. She specializes in providing financial help, resources and education for blood cancer patients. As a professional financial consultant and former caregiver of her husband who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, Diahanna perfectly understands the financial issues facing blood cancer patients.

Sr. Director, Marketing & Communications Amber McCracken brings more than 25 years of experience managing domestic and international public health and communications programs at purpose-driven nonprofits, companies, and public relations agencies. As the senior director for programs and community impact for the PAN Foundation, Amber provides strategic direction on the development and execution of the organization's educational programming and oversees PAN's outreach work in communities across the country. With an extensive background in marketing, Amber has also served as director of communications for other national non-profit organizations including HealthyWomen, the American Academy of HIV Medicine and the Alliance for Aging Research.

Jessica McLaughlin brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role at PAN, where she has excelled since joining in 2017. With a background in healthcare and extensive expertise in claims processing and customer service, Jessica initially graduated from Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy in 2014. Her career began as a pharmacy manager at CVS, where she developed a passion for enhancing patient care beyond traditional roles. Transitioning to PAN as a Clinical Affairs Specialist, Jessica focuses on researching areas of patient need, particularly in rare, chronic, or cancer diseases with significant financial burdens. She ensures the meticulous management of PAN's disease funds, aligning them with the latest clinical guidelines. Jessica is driven by a patient-first advocacy approach, leveraging her personal experience and professional skills to support patients throughout their health journeys with compassion and precision.
