Can complementary therapies be used to kill cancer cells?

Most complementary therapies really are focused on symptom management. So things like acupuncture, meditation, massage. And so they're very helpful for symptom management but not necessarily for treatment of multiple myeloma. There are natural plant extracts which are being studied; so herbs and supplements which are being evaluated to determine if they might have value as a cancer treatment. I think to date, there's really not strong evidence that this is an effective treatment yet. But there are studies ongoing and more studies that need to be done to really evaluate, you know, the the value of these therapies as a anti-cancer treatment.
