Yeah, so a pain management doctor is somebody who routinely manages pain. They kind of come in two different varieties. There's a pain management doctor that can specialize with your specific pain medication needs, but there's also pain management specialists like anesthesiologists who can do for instance nerve blocks, if you're having spinal pain. And so the best thing to do is it depends on what kind of pain you have. So if you have a specific type of pain and you go to your oncologist and it's not being managed by routine pain medications, then it's best to probably consult with a pain management specialist. And your doctor could really tell you whether or not you need an additional pain anesthesiologist who specializes in doing procedures. And that could be really helpful also in the case of multiple myeloma, specifically when it comes to spinal lesions.
