Description

At ASCO 2026, Dr. Hans Lee presented the first clinical study of mRNA-2808, an innovative mRNA-based therapy for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. Unlike conventional bispecific antibodies, mRNA-2808 delivers genetic instructions that enable the body to produce three T-cell engagers targeting BCMA, GPRC5D, and FcRH5. This novel strategy aims to overcome tumor heterogeneity, reduce treatment resistance, and improve immune-mediated killing of myeloma cells. Learn about the study design, patient eligibility, safety findings, and why this platform could represent a new direction for immunotherapy in multiple myeloma.
