Description

Niels van de Donk, MD, PhD, of Amsterdam UMC discusses long-term CARTITUDE-2 results for cilta-cel CAR-T at IMS 2026 in Glasgow. In patients with one to three prior lines of therapy, about half were alive and progression-free at five years, roughly double the one in three seen in more advanced disease. He explains why healthier T cells earlier in the disease may lead to longer remissions and how these results relate to the new definition of cure.
