My name is Carleen Tan. I'm an assistant attending at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in the myeloma service. I'm presenting an abstract on real world toclistomab treatment patterns for early initiators in patients with relapsed or factory multiple myeloma. We conducted this retrospective study to look at patient characteristics, step of dosing process, and the incidence and management of CRS in patients who were initially treated with toclistomab between November 1st, 2022 to April 1st, 2023 to find out how these patients did in that early phase of the drug being FDA approved. We included 113 patients in the study and found that patients were more diverse, elderly, and had significant comorbidities during that early phase of starting toclistomab. The median age was 65, with 43% of patients being over the age of 70 years old. But even though they were elderly and had significant comorbidities, the majority of patients were able to complete the step up dosing phase within the first, the single hospital admission. The length of stay for toclistomab step up dosing was about eight days, and most patients received it within with a three day or two day interval. The incidence of CRS was a little bit lower with our abstract based on different ways that we were able to capture CRS from this database. But overall it did appear that these early initiators were able to tolerate toclistomab relatively well.
