Dr. Avani Patel, D.C.
Dr. Patel is a knowledgeable, thorough, and passionate Doctor of Chiropractic and certified personal trainer. She graduated from USC in 2001 with a B.S. in Kinesiology (study of human movement). She then went on to attend chiropractic school at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, graduating in December 2004. With a passion for fitness, Dr. Patel went on to become a certified personal trainer in 2006 through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Dr. Patel’s style of practice is unique, gentle, and effective. She is not your “typical” chiropractor. She takes her time with each patient. She is very skillful in adjusting: the jaw (TMJ), feet, ankles, shoulders, wrists, as well as the spine; pregnant women and children; athletes or desk jockeys. During her undergraduate program at USC, she gained hands-on experience with the USC athletes. She enjoys playing sports and is continually active. All of this has given her an abundance of clinical, as well as personal, experience in treating and understanding injuries or ailments which can affect the entire body. Dr. Patel will individualize chiropractic care to suit the needs of your body so you can achieve the level of health and function which you desire.
