Peter Riedell, MD, specializes in the care of adults with lymphomas and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. In particular, he has a special interest in the use of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy in the treatment of these conditions.
As a clinical researcher, Dr. Riedell serves as the principal investigator on several national and international clinical trials evaluating the role of targeted therapies, stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy in the treatment of lymphoma. He has been heavily involved in the development and implementation of therapies which harness a patient’s own immune system to fight cancer. His research aims to better characterize and enhance the safety and effectiveness of cellular therapy in order to improve patient outcomes.
