My research focuses on associations between disorders of energy metabolism and lymphoma pathogenesis. Specifically, my research has been driven by the hypothesis that cachexia is a metabolically and immunologically dysregulated state utilized by aggressive lymphomas to promote tumor growth and confer resistance to therapy to the detriment of the host. The overarching goal for my research has been to advance knowledge of lymphoma biology and identify targets for more effective novel therapeutic approaches.
