About

As a hematologist and oncologist at NYU Langone, my approach to patient care is rooted in a deep appreciation for biological science and a commitment to helping those in need through hands-on treatment. I am passionate about the complexities of hematology and oncology, particularly because these fields are continuously evolving with new research and potential treatment options for challenging diseases. My role allows me to engage directly with patients, providing personalized care and innovative solutions.

I specialize in managing a wide range of benign and malignant hematologic conditions, with a particular focus on Leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) such as polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, and myelofibrosis. I have also honed my expertise in these areas, ensuring that my patients receive the most advanced and effective treatments available. My credentials and years of practice underscore my dedication to this field and my commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to proactive healthcare engagement, which is exemplified by my founding of the NYU Langone Clonal Hematopoiesis of Indeterminate Potential (CHIP) clinic. This clinic is designed to screen patients with blood mutations who do not yet have hematologic malignancies, providing early risk stratification, prognostic evaluations, and preventative interventions. Additionally, I offer extensive clinical trial options for patients with hard-to-treat blood malignancies, particularly myelodysplastic diseases (MDS), myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), and leukemia, ensuring that they have access to cutting-edge therapies.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a love for biological science and a desire to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. The complexity and rapid advancements in hematology and oncology drew me to this specialty, where I can continuously learn and apply new knowledge to improve patient outcomes. My educational background and ongoing research efforts reflect my dedication to this field, and as part of the NYU Langone team, I am committed to providing coordinated, seamless care for my patients.
