Chronic lymphocytic leukemia and lymphoma
Dr. Boyu Hu joined the Division of Hematology/Hematologic Malignancies in 2018. He specializes in treating patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and lymphoma. He completed his internal medicine residency at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and then his fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research focuses on characterizing the genomic landscape within lymphoid malignancies to use not only as prognostic markers within the diseases but also as biomarkers to develop novel targeted therapies and therapy combinations to treat each condition. He is an active member within the Southwest Oncology Group and is the principle investigator on multiple phase I, II and III clinical trials.
