About

Dr. Bianchi is a physician-scientist and Associate Director of the Amyloidosis Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. She is an associate physician with the Hematology Division of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Bianchi earned her MD degree summa cum laude from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy. She trained in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN and in Hematology-Oncology at Dana Farber/Partners Cancer Care program in Boston, MA.

Dr. Bianchi attends to the care of patients with AL amyloidosis, multiple myeloma, MGUS, MGRS and smoldering myeloma. Her clinical and research expertise is in plasma cell disorders and plasma cell biology. Dr. Bianchi is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Damon Runyon Physician Scientist Training Award, 2016; the Doris Duke Charitable Research Foundation Clinical Scientist Development Award, 2019; the American Society for Clinical Investigation (ASCI) Young Physician-Scientist Award, 2021; and the American Society of Hematology Scholar Award, 2022.
